Company Information
MaxEmail is a wholly owned subsidiary of Integrated Global Concepts, Inc. (IGC) based in Chicago, Illinois. The engineering team that founded the company in 1992 were pioneers in facsimile development and incorporating faxing with Internet communications. The Internet fax/voice messaging service is designed to meet a wide range of faxing needs, from the occasional faxer and individuals to small to mid-size companies and corporations.
MaxEmail Main Features
Fax Number Options - MaxEmail assigns local fax numbers for cities throughout the United States and for certain cities in Japan for an additional fee. Toll-free numbers are available with certain service plans. Existing fax numbers can be retained by porting them to MaxEmail or call forwarding them to an assigned MaxEmail number.
Integration - MaxEmail currently is not integrated into any applications.
Sending Fax Capabilities - MaxEmail sends faxes worldwide using an email to fax transmission. Users can send faxes via the service’s secure Web interface or their own email provider. An unlimited number of document files can be attached to sent emails and users can send a fax to multiple recipients at one time. The Send log on the user’s MaxEmail account displays the status of sent faxes.
Receiving Fax Capabilities - MaxEmail’s fax to email feature for incoming faxes delivers the faxes as an attachment to the user’s email account or to the user’s MaxEmail online account.
Fax Storage - All MaxEmail service plans include 30 days of online fax storage.
Security - Faxes sent and received via the user’s email provider are governed by its security measures. However, MaxEmail offers an “Alert” delivery method that replaces full attachments or links in email faxes with an email notification directing users to log in to their MaxEmail account to view the received fax. Faxes sent and received via the MaxEmail Web interface are secured by an encrypted SSL connection and a User ID and password are needed for users to access their online MaxEmail account. MaxEmail offers a Spam Guard feature to protect its customers from spam and junk faxes.
