Fax Number Options - For the same price, AirCom USA offers either a local toll fax number or a toll-free number. Local fax numbers are available in area codes in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and the Washington, D.C. area.
Integration - AirCom USA is cross-platform friendly and operates on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Sending Fax Capabilities - AirCom USA utilizes email to fax technology for sending online faxes. The user sends the fax document to AirCom USA via email. AirCom USA transmits the fax and sends the user an email fax delivery receipt notification and transmission confirmation. AirCom USA supports unlimited attachments in commonly used file types, including Microsoft applications, HTML, RTF, PDF, JPG, TIF, PostScript and Winfax. AirCom USA also supports faxing the contents of an email using HTML format, plain text, or fax merging to multiple recipients. Fax broadcasting services also are available.
Receiving Fax Capabilities - AirCom USA utilizes fax to email technology for incoming faxes. When a fax is sent to the user’s fax number, AirCom USA converts it to an email attachment and sends it to the user’s email address. Faxes are received in PDF or TIF format. Users can receive multiple faxes at the same time and can designate up to five email addresses for receiving faxes.
Fax Storage - Since AirCom USA transmits faxes via email, the user’s email account may be used for long-term storage of sent and received faxes.
Security - AirCom USA offers its users several security features for enhanced online fax protection. They include TLS secure email delivery, PGP email encryption, secure FTP using SSL, encrypted incoming PDF documents and a HTTPS post. AirCom USA has safeguards in place for reporting and blocking junk faxes.
AirCom USA Pricing Structure
AirCom USA has three online fax plans. The Basic plan is pay-per-use with a $8.95 monthly fee plus 10 cents a minute for sent and received fax pages. The Plus plan is $14.95 a month and includes one hour of fax time or about 120 fax pages. The Pro plan has a $19.95 monthly fee and includes two hours of fax time or about 240 fax pages. Plans are based on 2011 posted rates. No contract is required.
